Been a building site for last few years, Disabled parking good except for when they shove big wheel on site in past years on run up to Christmas.

I parked at 13:10 on Saturday 03/03/2018 during the "free times Saturday 1pm to 5pm". On returning to my car after shopping at Booths at 13:35 I met two traffic wardens who informed me that they had served me with a Penalty Charge Notice for failing to display a time of arrival ticket.50 or 25 if paid within 14days instead of free as widely advertised in order to attract shoppers to Chorley.To the contrary the action of Chipside Lancashire is more likely to cause shoppers to avoid Chorley.When I moved to Chorley in 1969 to work for the local authority the motto was "beware" and not "be aware" as it is now.In the light of my recent experience I suggest a return to the old motto appropriate.Chipside Lancashire who are responsible for Civil Parking Enforcement from a base in Wiltshire are also responsible for Enforsement in Preston, Pendle, West Lancashire, Fylde, Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, and Burnley.Moving a long way seems to be the only way to avoid them.
One of the best car parks in Chorley. My car loves being left here with all the other cars to keep him company. Free after 1pm on Saturdays
