Would have given no stars. Tried to contact them regarding a Caribbean cruise for Feb 2020. The price was amazing but when I called to book, the price suddenly went up double. I said this wasn't good enough so the lady said that she would enquire as to how the price has gone up and see what could be done, and if nothing, try and find another cruise for us. I received no call back even after ringing back myself twice. You wouldn't think I was trying to book a holiday with them and spend money with them. Disappointed with the whole experience, especially after the excitement of finding a 'great deal' on a Caribbean cruise. Obviously all a con just to get you to enquire.
I have booked a forthcoming cruise with cruise 118 and I have received first class help and advise to meet my ideal requirements. The concierge team have been really helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and I would highly recommend them
I consider the facts very carefully before leaving feedback but this company are just a group of rip off merchants. My Daughter rang to book a Caribbean sun cruise, for the full Family and were sold a a cruise from Baltimore to the Caribbean for Christmas, they said the deposit was 75 but took 2000 off us. The day after booking I looked into the cruise and noted that it took 3 days from Baltimore and 3 Days back all off which were likely to be in very cold temperatures. We called Cruise 118 to state this is not what we had asked for and tried to transfer to another Cruise that was in the Caribbean. They messed us around passing from person to person before agreeing to do this. They then changed there minds, (Despite the offer being on Email) and said we could not transfer our deposit. Our only option then was to cancel , which they said we would loose all our deposit, then they said they wanted another 500 to cancel, and if not paid immediately the charge would rise even further. Very reluctantly we paid. So we have paid 2500 to these sharks to be missold , messed about, and well and truly ripped off. MY ADVICE IS STAY WELL CLEAR. On a footnote it has to be said that Danielle was vary helpful when we eventually spoke to her and it was her who sorted out the transfer, but she was then overruled when we took up the offer.
Unfortunately we had to cancel our Caribbean cruise and informed Cruise118 with 5 weeks left before departure. We were told that cancellation was not possible except with a 100% charge and change of name was not possible so close to departure. The advice from P&O was that change of names was possible up 7 days before flight date. Convincing operators at Cruise118 was not easy and they did not seem to appreciate or show any sympathy or urgency for dealing with our plight. That is until Danielle took up the challenge. She demonstrated a very caring, interested and informative way of dealing with our problem. Despite having to inform us of a 100 extra charge, on top of the P & O charge of 40 she continued with her cheerful approach. I have to say that, in my opinion, she single handedly saved Cruise118s reputation for good service. My congratulations and thanks to her.
