Always dispatched nice and quick, well packaged, etc. Never had to return anything, so can't comment on that. Did once call customer services and was very happy with their support. I imagine that as major online retailers go these would be good to buy wheels or bikes from as you could always travel up to their shop for bike fitting (I assume).
Overall I'm happy with the service from Merlin. When calling for progress on bike build one person was unable to give me a delivery date. However, I did order over Xmas/New Year when they were running a good discount offer, so were very busy with new bike orders. Bike when delivered, was packed well. It was easy and quick to assemble, with everything, e.g. gears, brakes, etc, all properly adjusted. I would definitely look to use them again for a bike, as they do offer great value.

Excellent service, prices and discounts one of best on line. Items wanted were all in stock (when W and CD both out of stock awaiting delivery), delivery and packing very good.Basically an excellent purchasing experience and it will in the future be a site I visit first for cycling items.
Merlin Cycles shipped the Hope R2 LED light to me from the UK to New Zealand where I live and it got here in record time. This shop and the people who run it are as good as it gets. Buy something from them now, or at least have a look at their hand-picked, highly-curated inventory. I think you'll be impressed at the standards they have in place for quality gear.
