Welcoming .. grand for a couple of days.
Comfy rooms. Noisy but bit pricy located next too Chorley hospital
Firstly we where not allocated the room we had booked. Secondly there was no milk to go with the tea and coffee in the room! Third the staff member on duty could not give me a local taxi telephone number and finally we where asked to pay the bill even though we had paid it the night before! Not a great experience at all.
Stayed here for 2 night's for a funeral,the room's have recently been refurbished and are lovely with everything you should need even an iron and ironing board! The staff in the pub are so lovely and friendly,nothing is too much trouble for them!! We ate there both night's and had decent pub grub!! Well done to all
Will never go back. Hugely overpriced. Room was the tiniest room ever. Bed was tiny. Bathroom was miniscule. The shower was so cramped I couldn't even move. There is no reception, no one to make complaints to or help if needed. The room was incredibly warm and no air conditioning. When we eventually found someone to ask about a fan, guess what, no fans available. So we had to keep the windows open. The hotel is right beside the pub and the main road so the noise was dreadful when trying to sleep. But the worst point, on the bedside table when we got in right beside the phone, a huge toenail clipping! It was disgusting! How do you get a good night's sleep after that?? Very disappointed
